L’Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences ha annunciato le candidature ai Premi Oscar 2021. Fra queste c’è pure un po’ d’Italia con la presenza di Laura Pausini, già vincitrice del Golden Globe, nominata per la Miglior canzone con Io sì, dal film La vita davanti a sé di Edoardo Ponti. Il Pinocchio di Matteo Garrone vanta invece due nomination: Miglior trucco e acconciature e Migliori costumi.
La cerimonia di premiazione dell’edizione numero 93 della manifestazione quest’anno, causa pandemia, andrà in scena domenica 25 aprile.
